Wets' Forecasts for March.-
. A regular storm period. is central on
the 12th covering the 8th to the 15th.
We repeat our forma made in the No-
vember, 1905,number of this Magazine -
that this promises to be "one of the
most tempestuous and violent periods
of the month." As early as the lOth a
marked change to warmer will be
spreading from west to east, the bar-
otneter•will be falling to very low
readings in all western sections.,
threatening clouds will gather and
general storms of rain, . thunderand
wind will take up* an easterly comse
eclipse the country. From about Sat-
urday the 10th, to Wednesday the 14,
these etorette will make their transit
from western to eastern 'extremes,
bringing torrential rainfall to 'want'
localities, .especially in southern to
central parts of the country. Severe
lightning, thunder and hail will visit
many places, with great probability of
violent, tornadic storms. Meantime
boreal conditions will appear, advanc-
ing from the northwest, inthe form of,
rising harm:deter, blizzards and tem-
pestuous gales. •

the incoming and outgoing of March
counts for anything we will be up
against a howl from ye gods of , the
storm, elements at the end tif the
month, the opening day t being of the
lamb persuasion.
