1TONEY AND BEE TSIEVING. — Ono
night last week some thieves entered
the premises of Mr. :Doane, Rodger-
ville, and -stole one 4uudl'e 1 pounds of
honey, with a 1)oaniti1ou bee -hive full
of bees. lUr. Doane, on ascertaining
his loss, lad a suspicion where his pro-
perty war gone, and succeeded in tree-
ing the thieves a mile and a gnarter
toward the place where he supposed
the llsieves lived, but at that point no
further tracks were discernible. Thio
was the second robbery in 1411r. D.nine'e
premises. A short time previously the
sante persnns, he supposes, stole sixty
pounds of honey, ar.d scattered and
broke the comb, besides killing a num-
ber of bees. Those bees deprived of
ibe comb died shortly sfte' wards. Mr.
