ZURICH - Tuesday afternoon Rev. Gani Lazaro, Zu-
rich United Church held Bible Study in the Chapel at

sons to thank the Lord". Annie Zandbergen read
"Nothing on Earth is Forever Yours:" and the members
sang hymns to their attentive audience. Steve Poortin-
ga was pianist for his group and played a selection for
his choir to sing in Dutch with the English translation
of "U Think of the house of thc Lord". Linda De-
nomme, Nurses' Aid and apartment dwellers Loreen
Devine and Fergus Turnbull served cookies, coffee and
tea to their guests.
Rev. Cordell Parsons, Exeter United Church con-
ducted Thursday afternoon Chapel Service. Fr. Matthi-
as Wronski, St. Boniface Church celebrated Mass. The
past six weeks Fr. Wronski has been vacationing in
Polland, welcome hack!
The Home van was in for repairs, so the Masonville
shopping trip was rescheduled from November 18 to
December 2.
Sunday morning members of Zurich United Church,
under the leadership of Rev. Gani Lazaro and Grace
Martin as pianist, held their regular Sunday morning
service in thc auditorium of Blue Water Rest Home.
Many residents, some former members of Zurich Unit -
cd whose health no longer allows them to attend the
village congregation, enjoyed the service and reuniting
with their friends and acquaintances.
Monday afternoon the residents watched the video
"letter from Wingfield Farm" with actor Rob Beattie
portraying a Wall Street fellow applying his knowl-
edge to farming in rural Ontario and just how well he
came to grips with life on the farm.
Best wishes to Eleanor Brown who is visiting South
Huron Hospital, Exeter.
Our condolences to the family of Madeline Harburn
who passed way at BWRH in her 82nd year on No-
vember 14, 1994. Harburn, who resided at the Homc
the past three years was former resident of Hensall and
the Mother of our Nurses' Aid Geraldine Eckel.
The Residents look forward to a visit from their St.
Boniface Buddies on November 22 and the Annual
Resident/Family Christmas Dinner on November 27,
1994.
Many staff members of BWRH gathered at Hessen -
land Restaurant & Hotel, St. Joseph on November 22
to wish Anne Klungel, a part time registered nurse at
the Homc the past 17 years a happy and long retire-
ment. Anne and her husband Harry reside in Exeter
when not at their Bayfield cottages or travelling the
globe. They arc the former owners of Queensway
Nursing Home - so Anne's many years of geriatric ser-
vice should giver her great knowledge of things to
come.
