ZURICH - The Master Bowlers'
Association of Ontario (M.B.A.O.)
Master -Junior six game qualifying
round will take place the next two
weekends in Bluewater Zone Youth
Bowling Council leagues. Qualifi-
ers will advance to the Master -
Junior Regional finals October 30
when each Master Bowler will
bowl three games with one junior
(age 11-13) girl and one junior boy
in the pins over average format.

next year
CLINTON - Those who have a
1995 calendar at hand might want
to mark off June 6-9 as the dates
for the second annual Literacy Fes-
tival.
Organizers say they were so
pleased with success of the pro-
gram that they began the planning
stages for next year.
"So many people worked togeth-
er to make it a success," said litera-
cy representative Pat Senn.
On Monday she told the Huron
County Board of Education that an
estimated 4,000 students and 500
adults attended the event.
The board agreed to participate in
the festival again next year.
In addition to thanking those
who supported the festival, Senn
told trustees that schools involved
would receive either books or cas-
sette tapes from some of the au-
thors who participated in the
event.

PROPOSED PUBLIC ROAD NAME CHANGES SECTION
210(111) OF THE MUNICIPAL ACT, R.S.O. 1990
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Township of Hibbert
intends to pass a by-law to name public roads which may not have
been previously named, and to change the name of public roads
which may have been previously named.
The public road naming, or change of name is Intended to facilitate
the County -wide municipal addressing system which Is requ'red to be
In place prior to the Implementation of the "9-1-1" emergency
response system for ambulance, fire and police services throughout
the county. In addition, the municipal addressing system will facilitate
the delivery of goods and services (I.e. mail, courier, school buses,
etc.).
The proposed public road naming system is composed of Lines (east -
west oriented roadways) and Roads (north -south oriented roadways).
Lines in rural areas will be numbered south to north, starting at 1 on
the south boundary of the County (e.g. Line 1). Roads in the rural
areas will be numbered east to west, starting at 101 on the east
boundary of the County (e.g. Road 101). Roadways in built-up areas
(i.e. hamlets) will be given local names (e.g. Main Street).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed naming/renaming
of public roads Is available for inspection at the municipal office or
the County of Perth Planning and Development Office (Telephone
(519) 273-3511).

written or verbal representation regarding the proposed
naming/renaming of public roads:
