Students wrap up summer employments Registrations being held
Joey Forrester (right) and his
younger brother Jonathan
worked side by side in the
kitchen of Dick's of Grand
Bend this summer. Joey
worked as a cook and re-
turned to South Huron Dis-
trict High School Tuesday.
His brother started grade
eight at Zurich Public School.
Joey Vince (left) of London
and Lisa Jennison of Grand
Bend were co-workers at the
Beach Golf mini putt for the
second summer in a row.
Vince is saving her earnings
for university and will be
heading back to school at
Banting in London, because
her own high school, Oak-
ridge, is still under renova-
tions. Jennison, an SHDHS
student, said her summer job
comes in handy for spending
money.
Christine Went of Grand
Bend worked the summer at
the Sealtest Ice Cream store,
dishing out cold treats on
those hot days. Her second
year at the store ended Mon-
day, so she could return to
South Huron District High
School Tuesday. She said
her summer earnings will
come in handy. for "shopping
and school clothes ".
