Club sponsored another successful
'Mudrun' on Saturday and Sunday
at Emerson Wallis' farm.
Isabelle Harlton has taken up res-
idence at the Park Place Apart-
ments in Lucan as of last week.

two week's vacation with friends

Pork barbecue at
Thames Road Church
About 200 people at-
tended the barbecue.

THAMES ROAD - Around 200
people attended the pork barbecue
on Sunday at Thames Road
Church. During supper some of the
people sang 'Happy Birthday' to
Rhoda Rohde.
The September meeting of the
U.C.W. will be held Tuesday, Sep-
tember 13 at the Masonic Hall. The
program committee is Doris Elford,
Margaret Miller, Lorraine Alexan-
der, and Rhoda Rohde. Members
are to let the program committee
know if they are attending the sup-
per meeting by September 5. Roll
call will be "What holiday or day
off did you enjoy the most this past
year?"
Church services will commence
on September 4 at Elimville at 10
a.m. and at Thames Road at 11:15
a.m.
Promotion Sunday will be Sep-
tember 11.
