The Sunday afternoon event only drew a small number of people to the outdoor music concert. "We didn't have much support," said organizer Doug Jennison. "The bands were excellent." Although a cold wind off the lake had people on the beach shivering, Jennison said the airport was well sheltered that afternoon. "There could have been more people there," he admitted. "The people that didn't come missed a good show." The four acts lined up for the af- ternoon included Rick Powell, a tribute to Elvis, Ronny Fray, and Midnight Highway. When in doubt, check before you take any med- ication, to avoid harm to the fetus or baby. There never are enough organs available for transplant. A Mon- treal man placed a classified ad in the newspaper saying he would donate a kidney if someone would give him a job. This ac- tion highlights the desperation of unemployment as well as the great need for organ donation. Are you an organ doner? A study done on boxers using MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imag- ing), showed that four out of ten boxers have suffered some brain damage. Are we surprised? The Dow -Corning corporation is working on a new type of drug patch that will stick to the inside of the cheek. The cheek doesn't have the tough, keratinized layer our outerskin has, so it allows some drugs to penetrate better. HURON APOTHECARY Ltd.
