EXETER - The Exeter Lawn
Bowling Club held a mixed triples
tournament on July 30 sponsored
by Ellison Travel.
Exeter's team of Allan, Gloria
and Peter McFalls placed fifth,
while Shawn McFalls, Barb and
Roy Triebner received a consola-
tion prize.
District four Novice Playoffs
were also held recently in Exeter.
The team of Roy Triebner, Fred
Mommersteeg and Har Brintnell
defeated Ray Hodgson, Gus Gregus
and Bob Thompson in the final.
This team, along with Exeter's la-
dies entry of June Hodgson, Barb
Triebner and Doris Hackney will
be heading to the Ontario Final at
the Leaside Club in Toronto Au-
gust 13-14.
Forty-seven junior zone winners
aged 11 to 21 will gather at the Ot-
tawa Nepean Lawn Bowling Club,
August 12 through 14th for the
1994 Provincial Junior Ladies and
Men's Championships which are in
conjunction with the 1994 Ontario
Summer Games. They will com-
pete in two categories; I6 -and -
under and 16 -and -over pairs and
singles.
Representing Zone A are Jamie
McLellan; Chris Johnson and Tere-
sa Moreland of the Parks St. Marys
Lawn Bowling Club and Shawn
McFalls, Alan McFalls, Andrea
Weigand and Laura Pcarson of the
Exeter Lawn Bowling Club.

Headed for home
Rounding third on his way to home is Doug Cooper of
the JMR team in Dashwood. JMR went on to become A'
finalists in the tournament, losing to The Raptors. The
'B' champs in the tournament organized by the Dash-
wood Bears (Inc.) were the Kooly's Kids, with The Wolve-
rines as runners-up.
