Not Now, Darling playing
at Huron Country Playhouse
GRAND BEND - The hilarious farce Not Now,
Darling by Ray Cooney and John Chapman begins its
two week run on August 2 at Huron Country Play-
house and plays until August 13. Not Now, Darling
is sponsored by Nesbitt Thomson and Bank of Mon-
treal.
The scene is the exclusive London fur salon of
Bodley, Bodley and Crouch, where Crouch struggles
to keep things on an even keel despite the energetic
philandering of his partner (Bodley). Attempted infi-
delity, suspicious wives, mistaken identities, scantily
clad girls and a continuous barrage of rapid fire jokes
all become part of the hilarious goings-on.
Funnyman Paul Brown (Arnold Crouch) returns for
the second time this season, following his side-
splitting performance as Max in Lend Me a Tenor.
Audiences may also remember his performance as
George Pigden in the Canadian Premiere of last sea-
son's Ray Cooney farce, Out of Order.
On stage for the first time this season is Brian
McKay as Gilbert Bodley. An accomplished actor/
director, audiences sat on the edge of their seats dur-
ing McKay's production of Deathtrap which was his
directorial debut for HCP earlier this season.
Other members of the cast are Ahauna Black (Sue
Lawson), Pat Dawson (Mrs. Frencham), Anne Far-
quhar (Miss Tipdale), Melodee Finlay (Sue Law-
son), Paul Herwig (Mr. Lawson), Peggy Mahon
(Maude Bodley), Colin Miller (Mr. Frencham), Ste-
phen Russell (Harry McMichael) and Julie West
(Miss Whittington).
Directing the madness and mayhem is Walter
Learning. Learning has worked as a plumber, auto-
mobile salesman and wrestler. In between jobs he
founded Theatre New Brunswick in 1969 and was
its Artistic Director and General Manager for 10
years.
A box office record -breaker in London, Paris and
Broadway, Now Now, Darling promises an evening
of .non-stop laughter right up to the final curtain
when, miraculously and to the great relief of all con-
cerned, everything manages to turn out as it should!
Call the Huron Country Playhouse Box Office at
(519) 238-6000 or 1-800-706-6665 (within area
code 519) and guarantee yourself a fun -filled night
out!

CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
(STAGE 3)
PUBLIC INORMATION CENTRE
Village of Grand Bend/Township of Stephen
Grand Bend Area
,Sewage Treatment Facility Expansion
Provincial
Sewage Works Project No. 1-0271
The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), Village of Grand Bend
(Village), and Township of Stephen (Stephen) will be holding an
Informal Information session for the proposed Grand Bend Area
Sewage Treatment Facility Expansion.
Date/Time: Saturday, August 8, 1994 - 9 a.m. to Noon
Location: Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 498, 8 Ontario Street North,
Grand Bend, Ontario.
Purpose: Provide a project status update and an opportunity for public
Involvement In the planning and decision making process for this
project.
Interested residents, homeowners, business owners and developers In
the Grand Bend Area should plan to attend.
The Class Environmental Assessment (EA) planning process fr•r this
project has resulted In the following preferred solutions:
• Expand sewage treatment capacity to accommodate future needs
by modifying (upgrading) the existing sewage lagoon system.
• Utilize the "New Hamburg Process" approach to expand treatment
capactty and tmprove treated sewage effluent quettty,
• Implement water conservation measures to reduce sewage flows.
• Involve the Township of Bosanquet (Bosanquet) as a protect
participant and provide future development In North Bosanquet
with treatment capacity.
Future (20 -year) sewage treatment capacity protections for the Grand
Bend Area, Including anticipated requirements for the Village, Stephen
and Bosanquet, indicate a potential capacity expansion from 1900
m'/d (existing) to a maximum of 3800 m'/d. Future capacity
requirements will be presented at the information centre.
Capital costs to upgrade the existing lagoon system capacity to 3800
m3/d are estimated at 4.7 million dollars. Annual operation and
maintenance costs for an expanded treatment system are estimated
to be $163,000. Details of anticipated ratepayer costs will be
presented at the Information .centre.
The proposed treatment capacity expansion Is subject to the Ministry
of the Environment and Energy MOEE) •Class Environmental
Assessment Document for f an ExisthtiLSewalge co(
Water ystem. The project Is being planned es a Schedule "C activity.
If concerns arise regarding this project, which cannot be resolved In
discussion with OCWA, a person/party may request that the Minister
of Environment and Energy 'bump -up or elevate the project to an
Individual Environmental Assessment.
