A large crowd gathered to watch the tug of war late Saturday afternoon at Friedsburg Days.
Four teams entered the event, and one female team's challenge went unanswered. Above,
right, the team from McCann RediMix went undefeated Saturday afternoon, taking on all com-
ers from the Pioneers, the 14th Sodbusters, and the Tuggers in the double round-robin com-
petition. At right, the Pioneers' eyes were bulging and veins were popping when they found
they were up against their stiffest competition: the McCann Redi-Mix team.
