Jim Allsop was in charge of the summer chservice on Sunday morning at Thames Mad. The Responsive Reading was taken from the Service Book 'The Deeds of the Lord", Psalm 111. The choir sang 'There is Time" accompanied by the organist Jean Hodgert. The Scripture Lepton II Samuel 6:1-5, I2b-19, Ephesians 1:13-14 was read by Jean Hodgert. Rev. Allsop read Mark 6:1-29 and the title of his -sermon was "The Strange Ways of God".- -'he closing hymn "To Abraham and Sarah" was sung. The most colourful dresser was Keith Hodgert whose pants were as bright as Brenda McLean's shiniest shoes. Thomas Dunlop, son of Jim and Ruth (Bray), won the prize for the \ youngest member in attendance.
