Cows also sold steady. Veal sold at 5.00 higher and Iambs sold steady. Stockers on Friday traded on a fully steady market. There were 590 steers on offer selling from 79.00 to 84.00 to the high of 96.00. Thirty-four steers consigned by Cunningham Farms Lucan averaging 1334 lbs. sold for an average of 85.41 with sales to 95.75. Twenty-two steers consigned by Alton O'Neil, Lucan averaging 1403 lbs. sold for an average of 80.84 with sales to 86.25. There were 367 heifers on offer selling from 79.00 to 84.00 to the high of 94.25. Sixteen heifers consigned by Woodham Farms, Woodham averaging 998 lbs. sold for an average of 77.56 with sales to 84.50. The batteries will be collected at eight sites and sold to a recycling company in Mississauga.
