The meeting was opened by Pres- ident Marion singing 0 Canada, followed by the lord's Prayer. The Grand Bend seniors' Band entertained , playing, singing and telling jokes. Lila Ellis thanked the group and expressed everyone's enjoyment. 1 At the regular business meeting, birthday greetings were sung to Kay Greene and Ruth Skinner. As well, birthday and anniversary greetings were sung to Ruby and Harry Beavers. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, but there was no treasurers report as the treasurer was absent. Tickets were sold on a draw. The seniors have been invited to Huronview on June 26 for an after- noon tea and' dessert.The fee will be $3.00. Several members agreed to make cookies and muffins for the Tri - County Sports events to take place June 17-18 at the Rec Centre. ' A motion was made that Lila El- lis and Alva Heywood attend the' Seniors Convention in London, Au- gust 12-14, at the Radisson Hotel. The names of members invited to the Villa for a social time was read. These people have donated their time to play Bingo since January 1996. Isa Smith and Elsie Jory will 'help this month. Lois Learn gave a card report, but there was no bus report. Ways and means held several door draws.
