HAWKS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP IN FRONT OF CAPACITY CROWD

The Exeter Hawks pile-up for a championship photo session shortly after winning game seven of
the final O.H.A Junior "D" Championship series on Saturday night. The Hawks defeated the
Wellesley Apple Jacks 2-1 at the Lucan Community Centre in front of a capacity crowd bringing
the prestigious provincial title back to Exeter. Despite outshooting Wellesley 286 to 159 in the
series, the Hawks didn't have an easy time defeating their opponents who took two wild overtime
wins forcing the series to the final game. Backed up by a capacity crowd cheering them on, the
lo it j (�tawks pulled through in the clutch and captured the O. H.A.. crows.
