Diane Thiel and Deichert gave
reports of the recent convention
held in Toronto. In the absence of I
Ambassador Renee Sweeney, her
written report was read by her
mother Carmel.
Renee will be attending the
C.N.E. in Toronto next August.
This year's fair is planned for
July 26, 27 and 28. •
Plans are being made for the Fri-
day night Talent Show followed by
a dance in the arena with the local
group of Chris Brown playing.

be held on Saturday, as well as the

The horse show will take place

The fair is planned

ZURICH - Twenty-two children,
grades 5/6 from St. Boniface Youth
group enjoyed bowling at the Town
and Country. Lanes during the
March Break last Tuesday.
The older group, grades 7/8 took
part in. a '24 hour famine last
Wednesday and Thursday at St.
Boniface School gym to raise mon-

Hensall minor hockey tyke exhibi-
tion. Two members from the Zurich
Figure skating Club, Krista Schilbe
and Sarah -Rae Lovie entertained
the audience during the second and
third 20 minute periods.
Poultry convention
Abe and Connie DeMooy and
Ron and Sharen Schroeder were
among those who attended the
Poultry Convention in Toronto last
week.
Bean Festival meeting
The Zurich Bean Festival Com-
mittee will be holding their next
meeting tonight, March 27, at the
Public School in the teacher's
lounge beginning at 7:30 p.m. Ptes-

Fair Board meeting '
The Agricultural. Society held
their last Fair Board meeting at the
Township Hall on March 21.
New president John Becker
chaired the meeting. Secretary/
treasurer Margaret Deichert read
the minutes of the last meeting and
gave the financial report.

memory of the late Genie Flcis-
chauer who was very active long -

Personals
Harold and Lucille Vincent returned home last week after spending the
past two months in Florida. While there they visited daughter Lori and
son-in-law Kevin Brown.
Congratulations to Annie Zielman on the arrival of her fourteenth grand-
child, when a baby boy weighing 9 lbs. 7 oz. was .born March 15 to her
daughter Angie and husband Mark Dousfield of Belmont.
. David and Julie Rader rind•son Russell of Simcoe area visited a couple
of weeks ago with Russell's grandparents Earl and June Rader.
Recent out of area -visitors with Hugh and Annie Morenz have been her
sister and husband, Mary and Art Finlayson, Seaforth, cousin Donald
Jackson, of Hensall area and Bill Carr of London.
Elliott and Kay 'Clarke and Ken rind Marg Baker visited Tuesday with
Ken Jr. and Caryl Baker, of Goderich and.with Bat and Dors Schilbe of
Bayfield.
Melvin and Genie Stade and Ken and Marg Baker attended the recent
Fellowship Night at Kirktoa Community Centre.
