formerly of Hensall in his 80th year. Be-
loved husband of the former Julene M. Ste-
phenson. Dear father of Elaine and her hus-
band Jack Chipchase of Exeter. Linda and
her husband Jack Fraser of Ma.xvclle and
Anne and her husband Gerry Spanton of
Point Edward. Dear brother and brother-in-
law of Mervyn and Vera Keys of Winnipeg,
Allan and Katie Keys of Ottawa, Gordon
and Ruth Keys of London, Ivan and loan
Stephenson of Mississauga, Ralph and Mona
Stephenson of Varna and Joyce and Ron
Burt of Bayfield. Dear grandfather of Vic-
toria, Michael and Sarah Spanton, Matthew
and Mark Fraser and Jeff and Angela Chip -
chase. Predeceased by one grandson Shawn
Fraser. Visitation at the Hensall Chapel, 120
King Street, Hensall where the funeral and
committal services were conducted on
March 12 with Rev. Henry Annen officiat-
ing. Spring interment in Bayfield Cemetery.

OVERWEEL - Willem Roy. on March 4,
1996, aged 48. Quietly after a prolonged ill-
ness and final battle with cancer. Survived
by his wife Eva, daughters Jennifer and
Christine, father Jan K. of Mississauga, sis-
ters Inge Mowat and Ann Overweel of Hen-
sall and Julia Darbishire of Exeter. Prede-
ceased by his mother. Margaret (Torrance)
Ovcrweel. Wim will be missed by his family

three brothers and three sisters. Friends may
call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home,
William Street, Exeter, on Wednesday 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral mass will be cele-
brated on Thursday. March 14 at 1:00 p.m..
at Precious Blood Mission, Exeter with Fa-
ther John Pirt Celebrant. Interment Exeter
Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Can-
cer Society would be appreciated by the
family. Prayers will be said in the funeral
horse on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.rn.

BESTARD - The family of the late Erwin
Bestard would like to thank friends, relatives
and neighbours for their thoughtfulness and
support extended to us in our time of be-
reavement and during Erwin's illness. We
express our thanks to Dr. O'Connor and the
nurses at South Huron Hospital, Exeter for
the loving care to Erwin over the last three
months and your love and support shown to
me and our family during a very difficult
time. A special thank you to the Perth -Huron
V.O.N. nurses; also to the Palliative Care
Co-ordinator and volunteers. Special thanks
to Rev. Robert Putman for his many visits
and prayers and his comforting message at
the funeral. A sincere thanks to Jim and Bob
Hoffman at the Hoffman Funeral Home for
their kindness and guidance. Thank you to
the pallbearers; to the United Church Wom-
en for the lovely lunch served and to Brenda
and Laura for having our supper ready be-
tween visitation. We are grateful for the
many cards. visits, floral tributes, memorial
donations and expressions of sympathy we
received. and all the delicious food brought
to the house. Your kindness will always be
treasured and remembered.
