the 10th annual tree lighting festiv-
ities. Folks enjoyed the Pioneer
Christmas display upstairs in the
Village Hall and the old fashioned
treats of hot cider and popcorn
balls. Rev. Dan Roushorne of the
Carmel Presbyterian Church gave
the spiritual message. Songs of the
season were brought to us by the
Jr. and Sr. choirs of the Hensall
United Church. And yes, that Jolly
Old Elf himself managed to arrive
right on time under the careful
guidance of driver Donny and the
Hensall Fire Department. The
treats were courtesy of Pineridge
BBQ, the Hensall Fire Department,
the Village of Hensall and Huron -

Santa donned his skates and
joined in an hour of skating at the
arena. Santa distributed candy
canes to the children. These were
courtesy of Ron's Health Centre.
The Hensall Economic Develop-
ment Committee would like to
thank all the sponsors of this com-

Christmas is everybody's favourite
time of the year.
We go to church on Christmas Eve.
Then we go home and go to sleep.
We wake up in the morning and
think of little baby Jesus.
What 1 am saying is Christmas
means a lot to me.
