Rev. Annon of Hensall Untied
Church led Tuesdays worship ser-
vice with an excellent Christmas
message. Thank you also to Joyce
Pepper for being the volunteer pia-
nist for Church. The Lakeview
Singers presented a beautiful musi-
cal program of songs with a devo-
tional by Peter Steckle. Residents
also appreciated the visiting and
refreshments with the Lakeview
group following the program.
Volunteer Joyce Pepper, staff
Audrey Brand and Carol Gascho
and resident Ceacilia Edgar trav-
elled to Clinton Wednesday after-
noon to present a program at Din-
ing for Seniors. Duets "Star of the
East", and "Have a Holly Jolly
Christmas" were sung as well as a
solo "0 Holy Night". A Christmas
poem was also read. Volunteer
Chaplain Winnie Hutton was in
Wednesday to minister to resi-
dents. They very much appreciate
her caring presence.
Thursdays much anticipated
Hensall Public School program
had to be cancelled due to the
weather but will come in January.
The evening was certainly a busy
one with the "Al BeHaan Singers"
delivering a wonderful A Cappala
Program followed by the Christian
Reform Youth providing help with
a games night. Residents enjoyed
euchre, crokinole, dominos and
scrabble. Several of the regular
Thursday evening diners stayed to
enjoy the evening activities.
Friday afternoon ended the week
on a nice relaxed note with music
appreciation and reading.
