RELOUW - We are overjoyed to announce
the birth of our first child, Madison Paige.
Her date of arrival was November 8. 1995 at
3:35 p.m. weighing 8 lbs. 5 ozs. Madison's

Alstine) (Forrest) Cooper of Queensway
Nursing Home. formerly of Hensall, in her
78th year. Beloved wife of Charles Cooper
of Exeter Villa. Predeceased by her first hus-
hand. Bernice Cooper Forrest (1969). Dear
mother of Bob and his wife Cindy Forrest of
Exeter: Edward and his wife Charlene For-
rest of London; Ann and her husband
Charles Dittmer of Dashwood; Elizabeth L.
Neeb of Clinton; Bernice arid her husband
Donald Maschke of Ingersoll; and Edith
Jane and her husband William Novak of
London. Dear sister of Martha and her hus-
band Percy Webster of Exeter; Mrs. Jane
Avery of Toronto; and Mrs. Mary Stewart of
Espanola. Predeceased by brothers Harry
Van Alstine and James Van Alstine, sister
Ellen Witty. son John W.C. Forrest (Septem-
ber 1995) and daughter Lily Jane Forrest in
infancy. Survived by 19 grandchildren and
several great-grandchildren. Visitation was
held in the Hensall Chapel. 120 King Street,
Hensall on Monday evening from 7 to 9
p.m.. where the funeral and committal ser-
vices were conducted on Tuesday. Decem-
ber 5 at 1 p.m. Rev. Daniel Roushorne offi-
ciating. Private interment Hensall Union
Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, do-
nations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation

preciated. Everett was born and raised on a
brick and tile yard near Crediton. He operat-
ed bake shops in Hensall and Zurich and
owned and operated an electric store in De-
troit. He also was distributor for McCall

and Nelson Morrison of Winnipeg. Loving

Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or chari-
ty of choice would be appreciated. Mr. Pin-
ner was a veteran of WWII with the R.C.E.
Royal Canadian Legion. R.E. Pooley Branch
No. 67 Exeter held a service at the funeral
home.

SMITH • Ruby Dorothy Smith, 88. of Ce-
dar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday. November
25. 1995. at St. Luke's Hospital. Cedar Rap-
ids, after a long illness. Memorial services
were held Thursday, 2:30 p.m. at the Meth -
wick Retirement Community Chapel in Ce-
dar Rapids, Iowa by Rev. Robert Denner.
The body has been cremated. Teahen Funer-
al Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by three sons. Donald of
Sioux City, Brent of Cedar Rapids, and
Thomas of North Branch, MI. Also surviv-
ing are eight grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
a son Gerald. her brothers. a sister and par-
ents. Born in Belfast. Ireland on December
15, 1906, she spent most of her life in De-
troit. Michigan and lived in Grand Bend,
Ontario from 1966 to 1990. She was married
to John C. Smith on January 29. 1929 in Sar-
nia. Ontario. Canada. He died in 1974. Me-
morials may be given to the Methwick
Health Center. 49c

on November 30, 1995, Hazel (Elliot) Snid-
er of London and formerly of Exeter. Cher-
ished wife of H. Larry Snider. Beloved
mother of Linda Kadechuk of London and
Sandra and her husband Peter Richardson of
Montreal. Wonderful grandmother to Jef-
frey, Claire and Tara. Dear sister of Howard
(Sandy) and his wife Geraldine Elliot of
Chatham and lean and her husband George
Racey of Grand Bend. Predeceased by hei
beloved grandson Tom Richardson, brother
Harold Elliot and sister Marion Racey. Ha-
zel will be fondly remembered by her many
relatives and friends. Friends called at the
Hopper Hockey Funeral Horne, William
Street. Exeter where a private family service
was held on Saturday. Interment Exeter Ce-

made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foun-
