daughter Christina Van Lieshout in
London on Sunday.

mist luncheon and euchre at the Li-
ons Hall on Friday, November 17.

Magnolias' by the St. Marys Com-
munity Players at the town hall.

Corrections
Seven males and two females
were charged with a variety of of-
fences last week by Exeter OPP,
not nine males as reported last
week.
Also, the number of deer acci-
dents around Pinery Provincial
Park has decreased, not increased,
as was stated in a headline last
week.
The T -A regrets the errors.
At. St. Pauls Anglican Church,
Kirkton the Rev. Timothy Connor
led the communion service and his
message was about persisting in
doing what is right, encouraging
others and sharing God's Kingdom
here on earth.
4-H
The Granton 4-H 'Kountry Kick-
ers' met for their fourth meeting at
the home of leader Margaret
Bryan. Their club topic is country
line dancing. President Shannon
O'Shea opened with the 4-H
pledge and the roll call was an-
swered by finding the counts for
each dance. Then the group dis-
cussed ideas for the achievement
night and reviewed the previous
steps.
The group learned the cajun leap
and soon did it quite well. By this
time they were ready for a snack
served by Shelby and Jodi Pron-
chuk. The meeting was closed with
the 4-H motto.
Jodi Pronchuk was the secretary
and reporter.

Dry skin a Is common problem during the winter
months. The commonest causes are central heat-
ing, lack of humidity In the house, and soaking in
the tub too much. Solutions? Add a humidifier to
your heating system, shower instead of having a
bath, and use a good moisturizing cream daily.
Some herbal remedies are becoming standardized, i.e. with a labelled
amount of active ingredient. An example is the herb, "feverfew" which
has shown to be useful in preventing the frequency and severity of mi-
graine headaches. The active ingredient is parthenolide. One standard-
ized feverfew product is Tanacet. This herb should not be taken by
pregnant women.
in 1948, 86% of British adults smoked. Today, only 35% smoke.
Women feel the effects of alcohol more quickly than men. Enzymes in
a man's stomach seem to dispose of more alcohol than those in a
woman's stomach. So a woman will absorb more alcohol into the
bloodstream than a man.
We review our customers' medication profiles everytime we fill or refill
a prescription. It's all part of our professional service goals.
