He said most of the required fund- ing is in place but more support from the community is needed. Soldan reminds anyone wish- ing to support this project can make their tax-deductible donation at the Rec Centre or the Ex- eter town office. Lines from Lucan Lanes LUCAN - A Scotch Doubles tourney was recently held with a to- tal of 48 bowlers taking part. Com- ing in first were Scott Martin and Heather Smith with a five game to- tal of 1104 and also won a single game prize with a score of 231. Placing second with a score of 1047 were Laurie McGee and An- nie Vanhooydonk and a single game of 231. Lloyd Rimmer and Hap Wallis finished in third place with a 1039 total and a high game of 262. Two other high single games were awarded and they went to Glynn McGee and Lynn Smith with 294 as well as Larry Smith and Edith Yeo at 292. A Buddy Bowl was held for all Y.B.C. bowlers on October 15 and 21. This tournament involves all youth bowlers and they each bowl with a friend in a scotch doubles format in which the Y.B.C. mem- ber bowls the odd frames and their buddy bowls the even frames.
