Women who walk a mile a day can reduce the
chance of fractures due to osteoporosis and
can actually increase their bone density. Walk-
ing is a great exercise and will provide many
other benefits as well. +.
The most active muscles in the body are the eye muscles. They
move over 100,000 times per day, even during sleep.
The message about the negative effects of anabolic steroids still
hasn't reached everyone because some people still use them.
Side effects of these drugs include violent moods, shrunken sex
organs, acne, liver and spleen damage, hypertension and can-
cer. If used in young people who haven't finished growing yet,
they can stunt growth.
Our tears contain a powerful germ -killer call lysozyme which was
first detected by the discoverer of penicillin, Alexander Fleming.
Without this substance in our tears, our eyes would be much
more susceptible to infections.
