dren of Vacation Bible School 1995, Exeter
United Church, would like to thank all of
those people who contributed time, talents,
and treasures to be used at VBS, July 31 to
August 4. A special thanks to merchants and
friends who donated items for snacks and
for crafts. It was a tremendous week, en-
joyed by all, and would not have been possi-
ble without the donations of so many indi-
viduals and businesses. Your kindness and
generosity are appreciated.

to, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late
Harry Cook (1968). Loved mother of David
and his wife Katherine J. Smith -Cook of
Noah Bay and Suranne Gilchrist of Hawaii.
Dear sister-in-law of Mrs. Theodora Tiernan
of New York State and Mrs. Alice Tiernan
of Dashwood. Loved by her nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by brothers Dr. Lorne
Tieman (1979), J. Mervyn "Fishy" Tiernan
(1985) and sister Ruth Mutch (1980). Rest-
ing at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral

Life and Witness Seminar at Emmanuel Baptist
Church, Huron Street West in Exeter on Saturday,
August the 12th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mr.
Fost, a Crusade Director for the Billy Graham or-
ganization, will lead the participants through this four part course
that will enhance Christian growth on a personal and community
level. This native Newfoundlander's quick wit, energy, expertise and
personal love for evangelism will make this course a must for those
who truly wish to make a difference in their own lives and in the
lives of others. Cost to cover materials is $7.00 per person or $7.00
per couple. Join David for a great day of growth and fellowship.
