At a re- tirement tea Thursday afternoon, Johnston at the left is congratulated by Grand Bend resi- dents Jean Scott, Ilene Desjardine and v lyn Milligan. Before his -Grand Bend appoint= ment, Johnston spent 11 years at the Exeter Post Office. Elimville Sunday School anniversary held Cynthia Pym Superin- tendent of the Sunday School was in charge of the service. Rhoda Rohde THAMES ROAD - Several peo- ple from Thames Road attended the Elimville Sunday School Anni- versary. The theme of the service was `You've Got to Have Faith". Cynthia Pym Superintendent of the Sunday School was in charge of the service. The Sunday School children sang a number accompa- nied by Chad Smith on the piano. The Scripture lesson, Hebrews 11:10-3 was read by Sherrie Skin- ner and Ephesians 4: 4-6 was read by Brenda Elford. Seth Weber presented $268. to Sharon Lynn, Treasurer of the Mis- sion and Service" Fund. The chil- dren raised the money through their Walk-a-thon two weeks ago. Cynthia Pym introduced Lorne Overholt of the International Broth- erhood of Magicians as well as Fel- lowship of Christian Magicians from London' who did some great magic tricks which kept the audi- ence's attention. Cynthia Pym gave the Sunday School students their diplomas and seals. The closing hymn "Can A Little Child Like Me". Announcements On Sunday June 25 the Thames Road Sunday School Anniversary at 11 a.m. Message will be given by Barb "Spoonie" Hicks "A Camping We Will Go." On Sunday July 2 a joint service at Thames Road at 10 a.m. Guest speaker will be Jim Papple of Sea - forth, Food Grain Bank.
