It was not long before the repu- tation of this Women's Institute branch spread, and new, groups formed across Ontario, across Can- ada, and finally worldwide. Today, Women's Institute members are proud to uphold that "community spirit", of which Ontario can be so proud, as they meet the needs of the community, and, the personal growth of its members. As the February 19, 1997, Anni- versary date approaches, the Feder- ated body of the Women's Institute in Ontario has been actively orches- trating a number of Centennial pro- jects to involve members from across the province. To date, com- petitions have been held for mem- bers to design a logo, the face of a Limited Edition porcelain plate, the words and music to a Women's In- stitute song, and a quilt. On Wednesday, June 14, the win- ning quilt from the quilt competi- tion will be unveiled at the Agricul- tural museum. Entries to this quilt competition will hang in the Gam- brel barn for public viewing throughout the summer months. RFIMAX' LANDMARK REALTY INC 215 Piccadilly St. Suite 207 London, Ont.
