with the sheep and learned to eat
grass. One day, another lion told
him to "Remember who you are
and whose you are". The stories
were enjoyed by all.

thanked them, their parents, and the
teachers for their support of the
Sunday School throughout the year.
Skinner was also thanked for her
outstanding dedication and leader-
ship.

titled "God's Not Dead". Lindsay.
Powe played the piano, •and Lind-
say and Carrie Powe also sang. In
addition, Chandra and Alyssa Dou-
gall sang a song.
Bev Robinson and Heather Smith
led a lively rap "Jesus Loves Me".

Bill Clark does a little flddl'n
for the volunteers at Queens-
way Nursing Home in Hen-
sall.
Queensway
volunteers
appreciated
HENSALL - There is a special
place in heaven for volunteers.
This is a line from a poem read
on Thursday night at Queensway,
at the annual volunteer appreciation
night.
"This night is to thank all of you
volunteers for having been here
during the course of the year," said
Mary Ellen Groves, activity co-
ordinator.
The evening included entertain-
ment from volunteers, residents and
staff. Some people sang hymns,
others played the piano, and read
poems. Bill Clark, a recipient of
meals on wheels and father of one
of the staff members, played the
fiddle.
A touching moment was felt
when Carol Gascho, a health care
aid and Marg Coates, a resident,
shared a duct. Both partners sang
with strong, beautiful voices.
Gascho, later explained through
tears, "Marg has Altztimers Disease
very had, and usually she has great
difficulty forming sentences, yet
she can sing. She did just wonder-
ful tonight."
The evening concluded with
warm snacks from the kitchen, and
many shared words of gratitude.
