PURPOSE AND EFFECT
The zoning amendment is a general update of the
Tuckersmith Zoning By-law including several
housekeeping and other changes as follows: -
1. A definition of an adult live entertainment parlour
is added.
2. A provision is added to prohibit adult live
entertainment parlours, whether consisting ofa main
use or accessory, within the Township of
Tuckersmith.
3. The provisions for minimum yard requirements for
building and structures used for livestock, poultry an
fur bearing animals housing and waste storage are
reduced. The current yard requirements were
determined to be excessive. The change brings the
yard requirements in line with other municipalities
in Huron County and is intended to reduce the need
for minor variances.
4. This By-law amends zoning By-law 037-1985. As a
text amendment, this By-law affects all lands within
the Township of Tuckersmith.
The above list is a brief summary of the changes in the
approved By-law. Complete copies of the By-law are
available from the Township Clerk.
As a text amendment to the comprehensive zoning By-
law, this By-law affects all lands within the Township
of Tuckersmith. In addition, Key Maps showing the
location of the map zone changes are attached to the
complete By-law which is available from the Township
Clerk.
