youth wash
and wax cars
CENTRALIA - The youth of
Centralia Faith Tabernacle had a
very busy and successful car wash
on Saturday to raise funds for their
youth group.
There was a steady line of vehi-
• cles wanting a wash and shine at
the Pioneer Gas Bar in Exeter. The
group is planning a carnival in June
with all money raised going to the
Building Fund. The highlight of the
day will be bed racing. The Youth
are making two beds (one was on
display on Sunday morning) and
have challenged the congregation
to make a bed and race at the carni-
val. Scott Crawford has the bed
frames but the construction and de-
sign is up to the team members.
Form a teani and make a bed!
The bus will be travelling to the
March for Jesus in Stratford on
March 27. A count will be taken on
Sunday to see if another bus will be
needed.
The WM will be hosting a bridal
shower on Friday night for Christi-
na Huston. The meeting begins at
6:45 followed by the shower.
Rev. Harry Wuerch, London and
Rev. Dr. James Beal from Sterling
Heights, Michigan will conduct the
30th anniversary service at Central-
ia Tabernacle.
The choir will be practising on
Monday nights for the Saturday
night anniversary service.
