The Township of Stephen is a community of 4300 located in
Southern Huron County. The Arena Manager is responsible
for all aspects of the operation of a single pad, sand based
Ice surface facility located in Huron Park. As well, the Arena
Manager Is responsible for supervising the summer swimming
pool program and some aspects of park operations.
This is a working position.
Qualifications:
- five (5) years supervisory experience in arena operations.
- experience in organizing and delivering recreational
programming
- knowledge of food service management
- ability to communicate and work closely with the public
and community organizations
- ability and desire to actively promote recreational
programming In the community
- experience with budget preparation and departmental
financial control
- Class "B" refrigeration certificate, with ammonia system
experience
- willing to upgrade through training courses
