O.A.C. physics student Steve Hendrick is one out of only
five high school students to represent Canada in the
Physics Olympics. Hendrick wrote a three hour exam de-
signed and marked by the University of Toronto last Sun-
day to qualify for the event.
Hibbert given
go-ahead for
road
construction
TORONTO - A $224,100 project
in the Township of Hibbert has
been approved under the Canada/
Ontario Infrastructure Works pro-
gram, Perth -Wellington -Waterloo
MP John Richardson, Perth MPP
Karen Haslam and Reeve Walter
McKenzie announced Thursday.
Funding will be used to recon-
struct the Hibbert-Fullarton Boun-
dary Road and Concession Roads
2,3, 4 and 5. These gravel roads,
used extensively by farm vehicles,
will be paved to improve road safe-
ty'and reduce maintenance costs.
The work, which will create 128
person -weeks of employment,
should be completed by September
1995.

Holy Communion service was held
at 11 a.m. Mother's day, 5th Sun-
day of Easter.
Rev. Stephen Emcry for his chil-
dren's focus talked about Glorify-
ing God and its meaning. The Sun-
day School children went to their
classes following a solo by Katie -
Scarlett MacGillivray, "Holy Spirit
Hear Us." Courtney MacGillivray
and Crystal Davis were servers for
the service.
Sunday May 21, St. Patrick's will
celebrate their I35th anniversary at
11 a.m. Scripture readings to be for
6th Sunday of Easter. Acts 15:1-2,
22-29. Revelations 21: 10. 22-27,
Psalm 67 the Holy Gospel John 14:
23-29.
A time of fellowship and refresh-
ments will follow the service in the
Parish hall Mother's day.
Mrs. Mary Davis was Mother's
Day guest with Bob and Alexie
Tindall and family.
Hugh and Hazel Davis were
luncheon guests with Bob and
Heather MacGillivray, Courtney,
Katie -Scarlett, Caleb and Corbin,
Suzanne Davis, Crystal, Travis and
Starr.
The Davis's attended the 148th
Synod of the Diocese of Huron,
,Service of the Holy Eucharist, the
Eve of the Feast of St. Matthias the
Apostle Sunday May 14, at St.
Pauls Cathedral, also attending
Synod sessions at London Conven-
tion Centre representing St. Pat-
rick's on Monday and Tuesday.
Congratulations to Harley Davis
placing 4th in the 60 cc Moto
Cross at Farringthon Hills Race-
way at Barrie on Sunday.
Bill and Betty Johnson at Strat-
ford and grandson Steven Johnson
at Owen Sound were visitors with
the Davis's Wednesday evening.
