The market saw top quality steers
and heifers selling steady with the sec-
ond cut cattle selling $1.00 lower. Cows
sold steady. On Thursday veal sold $4-
8 higher. Lambs sold on a good active
strong trade. Friday saw stockers selling
steady.
There were 415 steers on offer sell-
ing from 88.00 to 94.00 to the high of
113.50.
Eighteen steers consigned by Wayne
O'Bnen, Centralia averaging 13961bs.
sold for an average of 89.61 with sales
to 113.50.
Fifteen steers consigned by Martin
Metske, Lucknow averaging 1348 lbs.
sold for an average of 89.45 with sales
to 99.50.
Twenty-one steers consigned by Da-
vid Millsap, Creemore averaging 1409
lbs. sold for an average of 90.21 with
sales to 99.00.

Denfield livestock sales
DENFIELD - The market here at Denfield traded on
a steady demand with the fancy fed cattle selling active
and American type cattle reflecting the higher dollar.
Cows and veal sold a little stronger and Mockers were
steady.
420 cattle and 200 pigs on offer
Gord Hardy, Lucan had the high sale for a steer 1285 lbs. at 1.05 purchased
by Dendekker Meats.
John McLinchey, Parkhill sold 4 steers average weight 1324 Ib. average price
94.41.
Don Eedy and Mark Vanderploeg, Denfield sold 8 heifers average weight
1231 lbs. average price 93.17.
Bill Cascaden, Oil City sold 36 heifers average weight 1230 Ib. average price
