ZURICH - The Zurich Town and
Country Golden Age team, led by
Vic Dunbar's 80 pins over his 168
average plus Bob Simpson's and
John Wintle's minus 4 and 11 pin -
fall respectively, finished fifth in a
field of 10 teams from across the
province in the Ontario men's Trip-
les Golden Age Championships
Wednesday at Owen Sound with
plus 65. Georgetown won the divi-
sion with 405 pins above their com-
bined average. The Zurich Golden
Age ladies team of Marie Wintle,
Grace Ridley and Ruth Robertson
finished tenth in their division
which was won by Mount Forest
with plus 282.
Family twosome
Zurich Youth Bowling Council's
(Y.B.C.) age seven and under Pee-
wee team of Katie Beaudoin and
her father Doug finished in fourth
place at the Bluewater Y.B.C. Fam-
ily Twosome championships Sun-
day at Owen Sound. Ten Bluewater
Peewee teams participated.
Becky Kirk and her father Don
also took fourth position in the Sen-
ior (ages 14-17) division, Jason
Dykstra and father Marten finished
fifth in the Junior (11-13 years) di-
vision while Craig Schroeder and
grandfather Peter Bedard took thir-
teenth spot in the Bantam (8 to 10)
division.
