The junior girls team which was coached by Pete Rut - ten and assisted by Joe Regier and Debra Tilley fin- ished the year with a "B" championship at the Park- hill tournament and were "A" champions at the Strathroy tournament. The senior girls team coached by Les Gardner and assisted by Jody Mosurinjohn and Jane Rowe fin- ished the year respectively as senior girls hockey is still quite new to Stephen Twp. The bantam rep team coached by Bob Parsons with assistance from Jim McCann and Bill Noakes took the "B" trophy from the Zurich tournament while the Bantam additional entry team coached by Jeff Stewart and assisted by Ron Pickering were the W.O.A.A. A.E. cham- pions and also the "B" champions of the Zurich tournament. The Pee wee rep team coached by Les Sherwood and assisted by Jim McCann and Bob Finkbeiner traveled as far as they could travel by winning the W.O.A.A. Regional Silver Stick "CC" tournament, the W.O.A.A. Peewee "E" trophy and taking the All -Ontario Pee Wee "E" cup after defeating Port Carling three games straight. The Pee wee local league coached by Jamie Wilson and assisted by Paul Glavin and Rick Davies were first place in their league and were winners of the W.O.A.A. Pee wee local league. The Atom rep team coached by Dick Lord with assistance from Rick Davies and Glenn Rollings were "A" champions of the Bill Batten Me- morial (Exeter) "CC" tournament. They also defeated Clifford for the W.O.A.A. championship and went on to take the all -Ontario Atom "E" championship defeating Ops Township in three straight games. The Atom local league team coached by Bev Thompson with help from Tony Michielsen and Mark Laye Sr. were "A" champions of the Parkhill Atom house tourney and took the W.O.A.A. Atom local league championship. The novice rep team coached by Ron Johnson and assisted by Ho- ward Schenk and Bill VanBergen were moved up to the "CC" division for playoffs and were finalists against Durham. Novice local league coached by Rich Springall with help from Mark Desjardine were `B" champions of the Stephen tournament and also of the W.O.A.A. local league. The Stephen Tyke team coached by Morley Thompson, assisted by Kevin Windsor and Mark Cronyn played a very strong year and ended up as first place winners in league play. They also were "A" champi- ons of the Tavistock and Stephen tournaments and took the W.O.A.A. Tyke "E" trophy.
