The event, which will be held at the Huron County Museum pro- vides exhibition space to show- case the work of Huron County secondary students. Organizer Laura Browne told the T -A the works will feature prints, paint - Ings, drawings, photographs, sculp- ture, mixed media and other visual delights. The Exeter students whose work is in this show are: Shari Beierling, title of her work "Self Portrait"; Dennis Willert, title "Value Study"; Bill Tufts, title "Apres M. C. Escher"; and Jennifer Van Bakal, title "Still Life". Anyone who wants to meet and mingle with the young aspiring art- ists should plan to attend the gala opening starting at 7 p.m. on Ftiday. The museum is located at 110 North St., Goderich. A tax receipt will be provided to anyone who makes a donations. Cheques can be made out to the Art Show and mailed to Laura Browne at G.D.C.L, 260 South St., Gode- rich, N7A 3M5. •w Purse stolen at Centralia College CENTRALIA - A woman re- turned to her vehicle on Thursday to find her purse had been stolen. The vehicle had been unlocked and parked at Centralia College. Times -Advocate, April 19, 1995 Break in attempt halted HURON PARK - Two youths were seen trying to break into a parked car, as reported by the OPP, at a residence in Huron Park on Thursday night. Their attempt was unsuccessful. The two were scared off by the vehicle owners. PWC worth $7 000 stolen GRAND BEND - A Tigershark Montego Personal Water Craft (PWC), worth $7 000 was stolen from the South-West Marina on Hwy. 21. The incident took place on Monday night. The PWC is 2.8 metres long and is brand new. Shed damaged USBORNE - The Osborne Twp. shed on Huron St. East was dam- aged on Thursday. A tractor inside the shed was also damaged. Police are investigating two mailboxes on Concession 2-3 Us - borne Twp. that were also damaged on Thursday. Police issued two people 12 hour suspensions. Page 3 Donations keep rolling in for Lions Park project EXETER -With warmer weath- er fast approaching, it won't be long until the Lions will be busy installing the walkway in Mac - Naughton Park. Project chair- man John Stephens said he is hoping to get as many walkway stones sold as possible before in- stallation because it is much eas- ier to have the engraving done ahead of time instead of on site. He said community support is growing with several new dona- tions coming in in the past week.
