At 2:42 in the last neri- od Miners set up Farquhar to give Exeter a two goal lead. Not giving up, St Marys scored another with less than two minutes remaining but it wasn't enough as Exeter went on to win the gold medal. Goalie Jana Webster was credited for making some game -saving stops in the final moments of the game.
