Corkin finished first by heating his 180 Thursday league average by 200 pins as he bowled a hot 740 triple score while Rader, with a 596 pintail, bowled 149 pins above her 149 Thursday average. Corkin and Rader will now pair up with OMBA bowlers Mike and Bev Cregan respectively as two teams in the five game, pins over average, $34,000 OMBA Pro -Am Shootout May 13. Gerry Heatherington and Mi- chelle DePappe finished third and fourth in a field of 50 bowlers in an effort to have a shot at the big mon- ey. Teleroute/Score Classic The TelRoute/Score, Zurich 5 Pin bowlers' Association Champion team of Rose Erb, Judy Stever, Edna Mielke, Sandra Dickert, Sher- rie Edwards, along with Bluewater and Zurich Association coach Tony Bedard, will represent the Zurich Association in the round robin, match play, pins over average, re- gional finals, Sunday at Moles- worth. Christine Cool - man Cheryl Wein had a strong game in net. Pam• Keyes and Julie Godbolt played a very strong game. Hensall novices capture league and tournament HURON PARK - The high rising shot of Danny Moir helped the Hensall novices win not only their own WOAA league title recently but Friday in Hu- ron Park, win the Stephen Township Minor Hockey Association novice tournament. At the tournament, Hensall won a pair of games in the preliminary round of the six -team event to ad- vance to play Seaforth. While Seaforth scored 17 seconds into the game. and notched one with 35 ticks on the clock in regulation play, it was Hensall winning the 'A' title 5-4. Moir, the Hensall captain, scored tour goals for the winners while Matthew Martin had the other. Goalie Bradley Young made a very hig save late in the second period. Hensall advanced to the final after opening with a very slim 4-3 win over Zurich. In that game Moir netted two with the others from Erik Lawrence and Kevin Ferris. Scoring for Zurich were Kris Hearn, Mathew Groot and Nicholas Vandenberg. In their second game, Hensall beat St. Marys Bruins 10-2 as Moir and Ryan Campbell each had hat tricks while Ferris had two with one each from Martin and Lawrence. Winning the 'B' championship was Stephen Township as they nipped Zurich 3-2. Jamie Bibby had all three goals for the winners while David Gingerich scored both for Zurich. Stephen was beaten by Seaforth 3-1 as Ryan ,Masse scored but Stephen also blanked St. Marys Whalers 3-0. Matt Martene had two goals and Tim Sheridan one while goalie David Desjardine had the shutout. Justin Soudant had a shutout as Zurich heat the Bruins 9-0. Hearn had three goals with two from Grott and singles from Vandenberg, Adam Snell, Dean VanRaay and Gingerich. League champions: Recently, Hensall won their own league as they took the 'A' title by heating Bel - grave in a two -game series. Identical 4-3 scores saw Moir lead the offence with five goals in two games while Ferris, Martin and Catnphell also connected. Atom series now tied ALVINSTON - It looks as though the OMHA atom 'E' semi-finals will be a high -scoring back -and -forth series. Sunday in Alvinston, the visiting Stephen Township Sonics lost 7-3 after coming off of a big 8-3 at home in the opener the day before. In Alvinston the fans in the home arena were very vocal as they sup- ported their team in a big way. Sonics captain Brayden Lord had a goal and two assists while Jesse Schroder scored once and set up another. Brian Dixon scored with two assists from Scott Davies. Saturday in Huron Park, Sonics goalie Gary Sauder played a strong game between the pipes and Dixon sparked the offence with a hig five - point game on two goals and three assists. Schroeder had three goals while Colin Sauder, Davies and Henny Pfaff also connected. Lord had four assists while Davies, Pfaff and Brent Tatara also helped out on the goals. Game Three goes tonight in Alvinston at 7 p.m. and it's hack in Hu- ron Park on Friday at 7 p.m. Soncis coaches are hoping for a Targe fan turnout. ONTARIO CLEAN WATER AGENCY Lake Huron Water Supply System Partial Twinning Project No. 5-0001-10 Notice of Completion of Environmental Study Report In order to increase the security of water supply from Lake Huron to the City of London and the thirteen other communities along the route, the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) is proposing to twin three sections of the original pipeline for a total length of 20,300 metres. This water supply project is being undertaken as a Schedule "B" project according to the requirements of the "Class Environment Assessment (EA) for Municipal Water and Wastewater Projects" (June 1993). However, due to the number of issues to be addressed, an Environmental Study Report has been completed and by this Notice is being placed in the public record for review. Subject to comments received as a result of this Notice and the receipt of necessary approvals, the Ontario Clean Water Agency intends to proceed with the construction of this project.
