Peewees trail series
PRINCE EDWARD CTY. - After going undefeated in the playoffs,
it seems as though'Exeter Huron Tractor is up against some stiff com-
petition in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association additional entry pee-
wee 'CC' championship series.
It was a hectic weekend for the players, coaches and parents as they
found out late Friday night they were on their way to the finals by way
of an overnight trip to Prince Edward County.
Saturday in the first game of the eight -point series, Rob DeVries
fired two goals in a slim 4-3 overtime loss. Wayne Cole had the other
Exeter goal with assists from Brandon Martin, Dan Snell, Mike
DeYoung, Bob Hamilton and Jeff Hogan.
Sunday the score was not a good indication of the final outcome of
the game which saw Prince Edward County win 6-2. Scoring for Exet-
er, who missed a lot of good chances, were Steve Rasenberg and Peter
Fragiskatos. DeVries, Cole and Dave Veal had the assists.
Game Three of the series will be played Saturday at the South Huron
Recreation Centre at 6:30 p.m. followed by Sunday's 4:30 p.m. game.
