It is easy to make, and 1 have used the sauce with chops, tenderloin or a small roast. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find the dried apples locally, so when I ran out, I had to just use more raisins and apricots. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan. Cook until they are browned on both sides (6-8 min). 4 pork loin chops. Take them out of the pan and drain any fat out of it. Put 1 cup of orange juice in the pan with 1/4 tsp allspice salt and pepper to taste 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce Simmer this and scrape up the brown bit from the bottom of the pan. Add: 1-1/2 cups assorted dried fruit (apricots, raisins, apples, etc.) and 1 more cup orange juice Simmer about 15 minutes until the fruit is tender. (If it gets too dry add a little water or more orange juice). Thicken with about 1-1/2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in some hot orange juice. Put the chops back in the pan and warm them thoroughly. Serve the sauce over the chops with rice or noodles.
