Larnbton, Middlesex pipeline owners want financial support

GODERICH - There are hundreds of miles of oil
pipeline running beneath the ground of Latnbton and
Middlesex counties and they are beginning to break.
Last Tuesday at the Federal Liberal Rural Caucus
held in Goderich, the Ontario Pipeline Landowners
Association brought their plight to a group of federal
MP's hoping for some answers.
While the organization didn't get a lot of answers,
they certainly drew a great deal of interest from the
politicians who seemed very concerned about the en-
vironmental problem.
"It's always better to have lots of ears listening to a
problem. Numbers are always better to approach a
minister with." said Lambton-Middlesex MP Rose
Marie Ur. -
