Time for a picnic?
A faithful reader alerted the the T -A news staff to this unusual scene in MacNaughton
Park this week. A not -so -thoughtful person threw one of the park's picnic tables into the
dam - they usually have to be fished out in the spring. However, the metal -framed table
was halted in its efforts to sink to the bottom as the dam froze over, leaving it neatly em-
bedded in the ice. It almost seems to welcome visitors to enjoy a picnic right out on the
surface of the dam.
