How the Christmas Tree
Got Its Place
By Jasmine Power, Grade 4
'Hensall Public School
One Christmas a •long time ago
.Santa did not have a place to put
the Christmas presents. That was a
problem because .he put them eve-
rywhere. -.He put them under the •
keds, in closets. even in (he kitchen
sink.
Sometimes kids and parents
could not. find the presents -any-
where.' On Christmas dinner- with
utcir• families. boom there they
were. That is why they have a
Christmas tree. •
Sonie Christmas trees are fake.
Some arc real. If you -chop down a
real tree you have to plant a new
one.• Some people buy them from
stores. (if. you buy from a store you
are getting take ones.) Christmas
•
holds the beauty and greenery for ••
'. tree•
s are great!
our home. .
Relieved and exhausted from
finding a tree we cut .the tree down
to the -ground. .
As squirrels ran from their bur-
rows scooting across the cold white
snow..
Just me laughing and Dad cursing
and swearing as we dragging the,
tree to the roof of our -car.
With two smashed windows and
dented the hood and roof
i suffered listening to my dad
yelling at me about our illegal do-
ings for the'rest of the ride home. •
