Friends of music
The Exeter United Church was
filled with music on Sunday night
at the Friends of Music concert
presented by the church's senior
choir. More than 30 musicians
participated in the evening of
Christmas music. Above, Ryan
Knee, left, and Brad Robinson
performed a guitar duet. Left,
Lindsay Haberer sang "The Song
of Mary." The concert raised mon-
ey for the new sound system in
the church sanctuary. The next
Friends of Music concert will be
April 19, 1998.
Food drive and carol sing
Smiling singers. The Exeter Food Drive and Carol Sing on Friday night supported the Exeter
Area Food Bank. Sponsored by the Exeter Scouts, Aux- Sauble Girl Guides. Exeter and Area
Fire Department and area businesses. the event enhanced the Christmas atmosphere
throughout the town. Parents, Beavers. Cubs, Scouts. Venturers, Guides. Brownies. other
family mennbers and members of the public sang or picked up food. Sarah Stoll, Melissa
Genttner, Laura Elder. Michelle Genttner and Artemysia Fragiskatos from the Hensall Path-
finders and Girl Guides were caroling.
