Exeter drew first blood when Jeff Campbell scored at 2:33 in the first period from Dave Farquhar and Erik Aboyof. Lucan :evened the score at 9:17 in the first when Jer- emy Hudson .scored on the pow- erplay with -assists going to Kevin Dunhar'and Jason Amey. The Chiefs again pulled to within a goal of New Hamburg with goalie Dennis Roth on the bench in favor of an extra attacker but time ran out. deBruyn and Steve Rasenberg scored Exeter's last two goals with assists going to Ben Kaak, Byron Eller- ington and Rasenberg. The Chiefs have pulled into second place in their division and next host Langton at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 20. "You just don't play the sante when the other team is short." The winning team consists of Jerry Geurts, Laura Miller, Jayden Russell and Adrienne Urquhart. The Exeter club entered another team made up of Geoff Sttisik, Beth -Ann Hern, Dave Shapton and Brianne Webber. That team beat Woodstock but lost to Milton to take seventh place in the I2 -team 'spiel. The London 'spiel was open to all junior teams. in either girls, boys ormixed. Exeter club coaches Les Hills, Harry Jacobi and Bill Urquhart said the teams played well and continue to show improvement every time they play.
