Jr. Panther girls v -ball start
season at St. Marys tourney
ST. MARYS - The South Huron junior girls volleyball
team started the season with a successful run at the
St. Marys tournament on the weekend.
Coach Bob Robilliard said the Panthers went 6-4 in
pool play against teams from Stratford St. Mike's,
Stratford Northwestern, Listowel, London Lucas and
St. Marys.
South Huron lost their semi-final match versus Lu-
cas 2-1, though Robilliard noted all three games
were close.
South Huron's Huron league schedule begins on
Dec. 18 when they travel to Clinton Central Huron to
face the hosts and Wingham Madill. The Panthers
host Goderich and Seaforth on Jan. 6 and Central
Huron and St. Anne's on Jan. 8.
