Christmas mood with the Home all
decked out for the festive season.
The Auxiliary Volunteer Elves" vis-
ited to dress the trees and place the
garland and bows in just the right
place. The residents and their fami-
lies look forward to their annual
Christmas dinner on November 30.
For the first time Kathy Steckle,
cook supervisor will be watching
the proceedings from the sidelines

for Silverstick
W'INGHAM — Exeter's and Ste-
phen Township's top atom hockey
players will clash with players from
other area systems during the
Wingham Regional Silverstick
Atom Hockey Tournament from
Dec. 8-14.
Exeter faces off versus New
Hamburg. Port Elgin and Walker-
ton in the 'B' division while Ste-
phen is up against Wallace, Dray-
ton and Ripley in the `E' division.
Other teams participating include
the host, Mitchell, Twin Centre,
Goderich, Kincardine, Tara, Mil-
verton, Southampton, Lucknow,
Erma Logan, Clinton and Mildmay:

"Free Willy Three' was a movie
the residents enjoyed recently. On
Wednesday Glen Thiel. volunteer
driver. Auxiliary volunteers Jean
Armstrong and Gladys Gingerich,
volunteer Susan Nyenhuis and
Cathy Shantz. Adjuvant took
Mabel. Riley, Mabel Kyle. Kurt
Gebel and Esther Makin on a shop-
ping trip to Masonville Plaza. They
lunched at the fast food outlets in
the mall..
Rev. Brian Williamson, Bayfield
Community Church conducted
Thursday afternoon chapel service
on. the topic of prayer. His wife
Marlene accompanied him on the
organ for the singing of the hymns.

lead Bible study on Tuesday after-
noon in the Chapel. -
Thursday evening Max
Ducharme and the "Townliners"
visited the Home to play old time
music. Max on the violin, Harvey
Smith on guitar, Doug Insley,
Hawaian -guitar, Andrew Rau, gui-
tar, Phyllis Deichcrt as pianist and
Carol Taylor tin rhythm instru-
ments had the residents swaying to
the music and filling the dance
floor.
Susan Weigel, a therapeutic
touch student from the University
of Western Ontario is fulfilling the
practical work for her studies at
Blue Water. The residents who
have experienced her services are
quite happy and Susan is gaining
experience in geriatric care.
