for your hockey relics
GODERICH — The Huron County_Museum wants
your hockey artifacts.
The,Muteutm.wants to document Huron County's
rich hockey heritage with an exhibit set to run for 18
months starting Jan. 17, 1998.
Museum staff are asking hockey fans to scour
their attics and basements to find such items as old
hockey sticks, goalie pads, trophies, photographs,
Young Canada Week medals, hockey folk art, etc.
to be loaned to the Museum for the exhibit.
The first period of the show will focus on the early
development of hockey to present in Huron; the
second section will open in April '98 and will feature
artifacts from the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Roy-
al Canadian Mint and focus on Canada's hockey
success world-wide and highlight
those from Huron
County who have contributed -to that success; the
third section will open in March '99 to coincide with
the 50th anniversary of the Young Canada Week
Peewee tournament in Goderich and wilt focus on
the growth of the WOAA.

MY VIEWS...
• I have worked for months to prepare for a
council position-
• Town council is due for new involvement
• Internal restructuring -.only if we can be
assured of saving taxpayer dollars
• Publicly funded reports
- made.public a.s.a.p. . •
• P.U.C. - I would like to see a public forum
on this' .
• • Committees - get them back. they are the community
• Amalgamation - move cautiously, keep an open mind
and agree as a whole council.
