The,Muteutm.wants to document Huron County's rich hockey heritage with an exhibit set to run for 18 months starting Jan. 17, 1998. Museum staff are asking hockey fans to scour their attics and basements to find such items as old hockey sticks, goalie pads, trophies, photographs, Young Canada Week medals, hockey folk art, etc. to be loaned to the Museum for the exhibit. The first period of the show will focus on the early development of hockey to present in Huron; the second section will open in April '98 and will feature artifacts from the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Roy- al Canadian Mint and focus on Canada's hockey success world-wide and highlight those from Huron County who have contributed -to that success; the third section will open in March '99 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Young Canada Week Peewee tournament in Goderich and wilt focus on the growth of the WOAA.
