Decorations forthe tour will be in a peach and gold flavor accented with angels and garlands., By Kate Mon T -A Reporter KIRKTON - Five area homes and the Kirkton United Church will be decked out for Christmas on November 15 and 16 for the - 1997 Christmas Tour. While being an outreach project, the tour will also raise funds for the church. The wide variety of homes will provide visitors with several ideas for decorating Including modem and tradltldital themes using a variety of colors. Afea decorators and florists are adding their talents to the event. The organizers emphasize the tour will be a nice outing and suggest people can combine the tour with lunch and shopping. They estimate the tour will take' at least three hours to complete nowt -the ticket Is valid -TM , entire weekend; Refret>ments including bhrtstmas dainties will be In the church basement and are Included with the price of the ticket. Balloons and markers will be at the driveways to mark the houses. , The tour runs' from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 and 1-4p.m.onSM,day, November 16. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased before the( event by calling Helen Shute at 229-6159 or Vera. Fletcher at 229-6661.
