Page 12 Times -Advocate, October 29, 1997 Local firms prominent in coming home. tour GRAND BEND - At Home in Exeter, Lakewood Nursery of St. Joseph; and The Flower Shop in Zurich are all- involved as business sponsors and design specialists in the coming Country Christmas Home Tour in the Grand Bend area. - Four private homes and two furnished model homes located are featured on this year's Country Christmas Home Tour November .7, 8 and 9. Homes are fully decked -out for theholidays, vTith Christmas finery. flowers and decorating innovations bya team of design professionals from across western Ontario. The homes themselves are located along the. Lake Huron shoreline. in. lour` private subdivisions stretching from Grand Bend to St._Joseph, and include one dramatic home. set on a cliff overlooking the lake itself. Among the distinctive features sported•by the homes designed by tour sponsor Oke Woodsmith are finials, dormers and cathedral ceilings. Christmas Home. tour is an annual museum fundraiser that supports educational exhibits, events and school programs at the Lambton Heritage Museum. ' The general admission show runs both November 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and tickets. :are $12. The special , opening night Candle -glow Preview on Friday Novemher 7; from 6 to 11 p.m., allows visitors' to avoid lineups and enjoy the drama of the homes lit by candles and lamps.
