Sunshine Pals get together for annual visit EXETER - On August 27, six members of the Sunshine Pals (which started with 10), formerly of the Sunshine Line Usborne Township, met for their -32nd year celebration, with a noon luncheon at the Thames Restaurant, St. Marys. They later went to the home of Marjorie Hodgert to spend the afternoons reminiscing and brows- ing through scrapbooks and snap- shots. Louise Creery of Exeter was unable to attend, but those enjoying the day were Greta Gibson, Lucan; Helen (Lamond) Kendrick, Cromarty; Norma Hooper and Audrey McRoberts, Exeter; and Ella Somers and Marjorie Hodgert of St. Marys. The hostess served a dainty lunch to bring a very enjoyable day to a close. Villa days of summer EXETER - The villa days of summer were enjoyed to the fullest at the Exeter Villa. The suspects trav- elled west on County #4, to- ward Highway 211. Another ve- hicle they had stolen was recovered on Concession 6, Stephen Township. On August 22 the Lumina was recovered in Grand Bend. • Theft of tools Thieves entered a barn and stole some tools, at Concession 3, Hullett Township on August 25, 1997. The tools included a Hausfeld air compressor, a All - jack jack, and heavy duty ex- - tension cord. Theft from vehicle Culprits sole a quantity of tools from a vehicle at Conces- sion 10, Stanley Township of August 23, 1997. The tools in- cluded a Makita drill and Black & Decker skill saw. Break and enter Sometime 'overnight un- known suspects broke into the pet store on the Main Street of Exeter and stole approximately $500 in cash. The break-in oc- curred on August 21, 1997. Also stolen were some store re- ceipts and three debit card re- ceipts.
