PRODUCTION OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN.
The successful candidate will perform various
operations which are essential to the production
of high quality Pioneer® brand seed.
Responsibilities will include tasks assigned in
acreage and parent seed allocation, seed field
activities. harvest, conditioning and packaging of
seed, warehouse and distribution of seed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Two year agricultural
diploma or equivalent experience. Class A/Z
license preferred. Able to work within a team

This position is accountable to the Local Board. The incumbent will be a point of contact with the Board of
Directors and will provide the Board with advice and counsel. The incumbent, working with co-workers.
will provide direction and leadership ensuring the effective planning. administration and implementation of
.the hoards' directives and the day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will possess the followidg skills. knowledge and experience:
• Post -secondary education (3-5 years) or 3 - 5 years equivalent experience is essential: preferably in the
arca of education and training.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and co-operatively with a.varicty of groups including: hoard
members, sponsors, the general public and government representatives. .
• Strong organizational, problem -solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Budgeting and financial planning expertise required.
• Demonstrated research and resource skills.
• Solid background in one or more of the following software suites: Lotus SmariSuite, Corel Suite. and/or
Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Windows 95 and the Internet also required.
• Familiarity with education and training issues/needs.
• Previous experience working with non-profit boards.
• Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and some weekends) with reliable transportation.
• Bilingual an asset..
